Suzanne Brubaker, Yoga teacher
Suzanne Brubaker is a yoga alliance certified yoga instructor, having completed her training with Master yoga teacher Beryl Bender Birch. She teaches Ashtanga/Astanga yoga, an invigorating system of yoga involving synchronization of the breath with a progressive series of postures, thus producing intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies the body. She also teaches Vinyasa and Flow yoga styles. Suzanne additionally completed her YoKid teacher certification in 2010 and teaches kids and teen yoga classes.
Kim Cavanaugh, Yoga teacher
Kimberly Cavanaugh has been practicing yoga for over ten years. She completed her 200RYT training with Cynthia Bialek, Founder of Yava Yoga in Fairfax, VA. Kim teaches beginner's yoga, intermediate, power/flow yoga, and restorative yoga. Kim has also studied under Jacci Reynolds, with whom she completed her Pre-natal/Baby and Me Yoga Teacher certification in January 2010.
Japheth Brubaker, Yoga teacher
Japheth Brubaker is training in Ashtanga/Astanga Yoga under Master Beryl Bender Birch. He has extensive fitness and mixed martial arts experience which he integrates into his approach.
Katherine Touhey, Yoga teacher
Katherine Touhey has been practicing yoga for eleven years. She initially started practicing as part of her training program for marathons and triathlons. She completed her 200RYT certification with Sarah Lynn, owner of JOURNEYoga, in Arlington, Virginia. Katherine teaches Vinyasa and Flow yoga. Her love of yoga derives from its ability to not only stretch, strengthen and condition the muscles but to also quiet the mind.
Rebecca Zarrella, Yoga teacher
Rebecca Zarrella completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Flow Yoga in Washington DC. A vinyasa teacher, Rebecca’s curiosity and respect for all styles of yoga has led her to workshops led by Jivamukti founders Sharon Gannon and David Life, Ashtanga teacher David Kyle, and hip-hop musician and teacher MC Yogi. Rebecca loves exploring the biology and neuroscience behind why yoga makes us feel better. She uses this knowledge to help make her classes challenging, fun, and replenishing. Currently studying the use of yoga as physical therapy, Rebecca’s passion is to help her students find greater freedom and peace in their body and their mind.
